Janice Banther, CCE, CD(DONA)
Janice has been a birth doula long before it had a name. She started in 1983 and still loves each birth that she attends. After all these years, the wonder of birth is still precious and amazing each time. She is a certified childbirth educator and a certified birth doula with CAPPA and DONA International.
Janice also enjoys being a postpartum doula. Her goal as a birth doula is to help the mother and her partner have the birth that they want to experience. She is experienced in water births, cesarean births, multiples, and adoption. Her greatest love is God. Her greatest pride and joy is her husband Barry and her two sons, David and John and daughter in law, Ruth. Her greatest desire is to help women have a positive birth experience that equips them to be nurturing and loving parents.

Michelle Gallagher, CD(DONA)
Michelle has been helping women have the birth experience they desire since 11 years. She is also a certified with DONA International.
Helping women during this intimate time of their life and empowering them achieve the birth that they want is her passion. She is also a childbirth educator and help moms preserve the memory of their pregnancy by making belly casts. Michelle is experienced is natural, medicated, and water births. Michelle is married to PJ and has one
beautiful son.

Marsha Laycox, Birth Doula
Marsha has been fascinated by the human body for as long as she can remember. She truly enjoys assisting women during pregnancy, labor, and birth, as well as helping the new family with breastfeeding. She currently serves as a Birth Assistant at the Breath of Life Birth Center in Largo, Florida, and is seeking to complete her birth doula certification process through CAPPA very soon. With a heart for God, and a passion for helping women to have the birth they desire, she is continually amazed by the beauty of new life entering the world.
Marsha has experience in Birth Center births, natural births, water births, and medicated births. Some of her current certifications include CPR for Professionals, and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation). Marsha and her husband, Chris, live in St. Petersburg.

Katie Hellner,CD(DONA),CHBE
Katie discovered her passion for birthing immediately after the birth of her first child. She feels that every pregnancy, birth and postpartum time is unique and very special. Her desire is to help you achieve the birth of your dreams as well as have an easy transition into parenthood.
Katie is a certified doula with DONA International, a certified HAPPIEST BABY ON THE BLOCK educator, a Coping with Crying-Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention trainer and is infant and adult CPR certified. Katie and her husband Rob live in Palm Harbor with their 3 children Alexis, Natalie, and Harrison.

Suzie Barbour

Suzie has been assisting women during pregnancy, labor, delivery and postpartum for years and has recently sought out birth doula certification through DONA. She has a love for people, a passion for the birthing process and a desire to see all women be empowered by achieving the birth that they want. Suzie sees birthing as a life changing experience that has been intricately designed by God to transition women into the beautiful gift of motherhood. She has experience in home births, water births, natural births, cesarean births, medicated births, adoptions, multiples and VBACs (Vaginal Births After Cesarean). Suzie and her husband, Justin live in St. Petersburg.

Donna Foster, CD(DONA)
Donna has helped young girls and women in labor long before she knew the word doula. She is a certified birth doula with DONA International. Donna has experience in adoption births, natural births, medicated births, cesarean births and multiples. She has two grown daughters, and two beautiful granddaughters. Donna lives in Dunedin Florida.

All of the doulas in For The Love of Birth, Inc. work with births that are medicated and natural births. It is your birth, not ours. Above all, we want you to have the birth that you want. Also – each doula has the same philosophy of birth and treat each birth as sacred.
